Season 1 – Episode: China Doll

Storyline

Because of his friendship with the beautiful Chinese Mai Ling, he regularly visits her in her home on Kaua'i, one of the eight main islands of Hawaii. One day, Mai Ling tells the private investigator that a precious ancient vase of great historical value is in her possession and that she had already sold it to a dealer in San Francisco.

 

She asks Thomas to take care of this box. Magnum happily agrees to do Mai Ling this favour, but without knowing that his friend is being pursued by a Chinese Tong-warrior who wants to bring the vase at any price to his religious community because of its high symbolic and religious significance. To achieve this goal, the warrior is willing to blackmail and murder.

 

The Tong-warrior kidnaps Mai Ling and offers Magnum the life of the young woman in exchange for the box. Magnum naturally wants to save May Ling’s life, but he does not want to hand over the content of the box under any circumstances. In order to achieve his goal, the private investigator asks his friends, T.C. and Rick, for help.
