First Broadcast in Germany: January 20th 1991
Tom Selleck as Private Detective Thomas Magnum
Storyline
Wealthy Louise DeBolt Jackson organizes together with her sister, Christie, so-called detective games where – after the old Dashiell Hammet Detectives – fictitious crimes are to be cleared. In order to give such a crime evening a realistic background, they want to hire a real private eye and turn with this mission to private investigator Magnum. While not enthusiastic, he takes on the commission to appear and participate in the game.
Then the tide seems to turn to a more serious game, because Louise DeBolt Jackson is hospitalized for severe poisoning. Magnum begins his investigation, trying to determine who might have it in for the hostess and also what reason lies behind this assassination attempt.
