Storyline

Magnum goes diving in the Kahuku lagoon and is convinced that he has seen the ghost of a boy who has recently drowned in the lagoon during his dive. As expected, his friends make fun of him when he tells them of the ghost. Nevertheless, he cannot forget this experience and visits the parents of the deceased boy.

The private detective realizes thanks to the discussion with his parents, that the boy's mother is still hoping that her son turns up alive. However, since he also has the feeling that the Father has something to hide, he continues to investigate.

During his investigation, the detective finds out that his father has apparently blown his own boat in the air in order to commit insurance fraud. It seems that he does not know that Keli'i was on board at that time.
