The Silent Witness

First Broadcast: May 3rd 2003

Leonard Lansink as Detective Wilsberg

Storyline

Georg Wilsberg and his friend Manni attend the vernissage of art student Sophie, whom Manni has facilitated a warehouse for. Sophie’s beauty and her attractiveness, which remains a mystery to the two friends, leads to a series of petty jealousies and discussions.

Art student Sophie is found the next day next to her artwork in the premises of the vernissage  with her head smashed. Accident or murder?

Private detective Wilsberg takes over the investigation which, among others, leads to questions such as what motive Conny, friend and fellow student of the victim, would have to murder Sophie. Does her job as babysitter to the son of university lecturer Vera Lemberg have anything to do with the death? What about her relation with the lecturer’s former husband?
