Storyline

A valuable painting from Egypt is now exhibited in Los Angeles. The Remington Steele Detective Agency receives the assignment of ensuring the safety of this painting, called "The Five Nudes of Cairo."

During a preliminary talk, Remington Steele meets Catherine Simon, the. Only this is not Catherine and she is certainly not an assistant curator.

It is actually Remington's former lover Christine, who is a professional international art thief.

When Laura wants to visit her colleague Remington's apartment, she meets there the very scantily dressed Christine. Shortly after Laura is kidnapped by two art thieves. Later, Laura manages to escape her captors.

However, the museum curator is murdered and Remington Steele must rely on a very sophisticated, but dangerous plan for solving the case.

To lure those on his trail, he steals The Five Nudes of Cairo. His plan works very smoothly - but it would have been much better if he'd had a little more time to prepare.
